Story
We started as two members of the public who saw the state of our most vulnerable animals as a shared responsibility.
Behind the Moggies
Our small but passionate team is 100% volunteer based, with our rescue roles woven around our families, employment and day-to-day lives.
By working alongside local vet clinics, fellow rescues and pet food banks, we provide a ‘hand up’ support network within our communities - encouraging everyday people to take responsibility, make informed choices, and be part of creating positive change.
Our Values
Care.
We care for our foster animals as our own, providing them with the social and physical rehabilitation they need to thrive in their lives outside of the rescue.
Once ready, a careful screening process begins to find homes that best match each cat or kitten to their respective adoptive families.
Community.
We are huge advocates of the everyday individual standing up for our animals. Inside of the rescue and beyond our doors, we are happy to share our resources, advice and time, to support members of the community wanting to make a positive difference for the animals within them.
